Daily Paws, a digital brand of Meredith Corporation, is expanding its freelance stable. The goal of the brand is to “inspire, educate, and inform pet lovers.”

Writing professionals with sharp research skills and experienced with animals and pets preferred, but also open to individuals whose portfolios contain health, lifestyle, and family-oriented entertainment features. Please review the site first to get a feel of tone before approach. Pay is competitive and prompt.

I’m not the decision maker for assignments but a senior writer on a reconnaissance mission. All inquiries will be forwarded to the deputy editor.

Bennington College is looking for producers/videographers to produce promotional spots in March, with additional video work through the spring.

We will also be looking for a freelancer to support digital ad buys; that project will likely be a few hours a week from 2/16 through June. (The freelancer would be placing and tracking the ads, but not necessarily responsible for creating them.)

All interested parties should email communications@bennington.edu with their resume for more information. Thank you.
