Hi, my name is Mahogany Crowder. I want to become a freelance writer because I want to start taking care of my mother, pay for my 13-year-old daughter’s college, and have the financial freedom to do and buy the things I want when I want. I have a few skills. I was employed at my college newspaper. I was a bartender and worked in hospitality. I’ve also worked in the real estate and radio and television industry. I read that it’s good money in real estate. So, I was thinking about writing about the open house aspect of the selling process because that was the part I enjoyed doing the most when I was a Realtor. My clients would be buyer agents, who are already well established and are closing on 20+ houses a month. But I am kinda second thinking this niche because of the COVID. Then, I considered doing content marketing for small black-owned businesses here in Oklahoma City. I don’t know how to research to find out which one would be more lucrative. I also need to start making some money asap because I am no longer working. Does anyone have any advice?
