I need to tell you a little secret…I think you’re in one of THE BEST positions to start freelancing.
You’ve got some work experience, you’ve seen a few things, and you won’t be distracted by every opportunity out there. You’ve also got a great chance to turn your experience into a selling point that defines you as an expert no matter what skill set you choose AND get you paid more for your expertise. (I’m a little biased though, since this is how I started.)
And never forget that skilled freelancers earn more than 70% of workers, and 44% of freelancers make more than they did employed.
