October has passed so it’s time to say goodbye to focusing on your freelance web presence, and jump into getting new clients!
This month we’ll be dedicating most of the posts, forum discussions, and newsletter topics to the art and science of bringing in clients. We’ll be…
- Sharing stories of how we got our first clients and helping others do the same
- Discussing how we continuously bring in new freelance assignments and where they come from
- Reviewing the tools, methods, and mindsets that have been most helpful to us
- Covering anything else the community finds useful in starting and maintaining a steady flow of freelance work
So if you want to keep track of what’s going on, sign up for our free membership and you’ll get a heads up as soon as anything drops. If you want to go a step further and get in on monthly goal-setting and review, as well as courses to improve your freelance career, and other special content, our premium membership is only $7 a month (and you get a free, trial month.)
A quick preview…Our first activities will be a post on getting your first client and our premium members will be setting up their client acquisition goals for the month.
Website Roundup
Just one month in and we’ve already seen some great developments in our freelance websites!
Personally, after cleaning up my fonts and better targeting my messaging, I was contacted by two very promising inbound leads because of my web presences (not common for what I do) and perhaps more importantly, I feel proud of my site and I have new energy and motivation to create content that can bring me business.
We’ve also seen some really nice website improvements across the board, so congrats to everybody who’s been getting stuff done this October! If you didn’t get a chance to join in…no worries…we’re always talking about websites around here and website month will roll back around in no time.
Thanks for coming by BlackFreelance, and talk to you soon!
Megan.
